Well i didn't have the same problems as you did with joining Flickr. Actually mine was the opposite. I found it really easy, the hardest thing i had to do was to pick the photos i wanted on my page. I have a suggestion though if Flickr isn't working join facebook or another photo site. It would be good if you could join Flickr though because then i would have some friends on my page and i wouldn't be such a loner... LOL
